You don't have to wait for your daughter's first period to begin the conversation. Age 9 -10 is a great time to start. The sooner you can introduce these concepts, the easier it is to build on them.

This parent-focused class equips you with the knowledge, language, and practical tools to introduce the concepts from the My First Period Workshop in the comfort of your own home. (children should not attend this workshop).

Together, we'll walk through the biology of the menstrual cycle, normal pubertal development, and age-appropriate ways to discuss periods in a positive, confident, and shame-free way. You'll also learn practical tips for preparing your daughter for her first period while fostering open communication and body literacy.
