My First Period Workshop
This workshop is tailored for girls ages 9-12 who haven't started cycling, but new cyclers are welcome. Your daughter will discover her unique female superpowers and ways to embrace them. Through an engaging hands-on activity, she will learn about the menstrual cycle and have the opportunity to explore various period products for the period kit bag she decorates.

We'll make the complex process of the cycle and hormones easy to understand using a garden analogy.
Each girl will get to decorate her own period kit bag!

This experience includes a thoughtfully designed 18+ page take-home workbook that brings the presentation to life and extends the learning well beyond the session itself.
The workbook features interactive pages—such as simple activities, diagrams, and note-taking spaces—that help participants better understand, personalize, and remember the content presented. Rather than passively listening, participants actively engage with the material in a meaningful, age-appropriate way. In addition, the workbook provides extra resources to explore at home, including conversation starters, helpful explanations, and trusted references to support continued learning and family discussion. It’s designed to be both practical and encouraging—a keepsake that participants can return to as questions arise and understanding deepens.
